Holidays 2010

It has been a really fun year - I've learned so much and grown so tall. I have especially liked learning about Christmas and more importantly how to open presents! I must say I have a real nack for ripping open the wrapping paper and hearing that great noise. The excitement of seeing what is inside pales in comparison to the joy of opening.

Although there were a few presents that were extra special to me this year. In particular, my "Chicken Dance" Elmo, which I have carried around with me since he was unwrapped. What is a "Chicken Dance" Elmo you ask??? How could anyone not know? It is Elmo dressed like a chicken and he does the Chicken dance while singing the best song! "Elmo wants to be a Chicken, Elmo wants to be a Duck... Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack..." Other great presents this year were the Webbles from my brothers and Auntie.

I am excited to start 2011 and enjoy all the adventures yet to come.

Tea?

My favorite toy right now is my musical tea pot and two tea cups. I play with them all the time and sometimes I even try to get mommy to let me sleep with them. (but she never let's me).

Today Daddy kept asking me to get him some teeth, I had no idea how to get him so teeth so what I think he meant was show him my teeth. I opened up big and wide and showed him my teeth. Mommy and Daddy were very confused. I don't know why they would be so confused, but they were for a very long time.

Then they said, "Oh, teeth! Not tea..."

Ummm, yeah, why else would I be showing you my teeth?

Sometimes, I worry about mommy and daddy. They are my parents and suppose to be smarter than me. I'm in trouble...

A new house

I can't believe it has been so long since I have written! So much has happened in the past few months. The biggest news is that we moved to a new house, well it's an old house, but new to us. I think I like it here, but I have not really decided yet. My room is big and I have my very own bathroom. But now I am upstairs while Mom and Dad are downstairs. At least my brothers' room is upstairs with mine.

I start a new school on Monday. I'm not so sure about it, because I think I am just starting to be ok with my class. Although, I really don't like the morning teacher. She is quite awful, she is always grouchy and she doesn't really give hugs.

Last weekend Nini came to visit; we had lots of fun. I hope that she comes back again soon. It was nice to have Duke around, I got to play with him and pet him! Skootie never lets me do anything like that. Maybe Nini will switch with us, so we can have a dog I can play with :)

I know we have a lot of visitors coming in the next few weeks, I can't wait to see everyone and show them what a big girl I have become!

Disneyland!

We took my first trip to Disneyland this weekend. There were so many things to see, I had no idea that it would be so exciting! We got up early on Wednesday morning and went to the airport to get on the plane. After a long time, we went to this magical place called Disneyland. It was sunny and warm and we were greeted at the front by a character named Goofy. I, of course, loved him - he is a dog after all. After a few quick pictures with him, we set off to find food and explore.

We happened upon a wonderful place called Tomorrowland where my brothers went on a ride called Space Mountain. I'm not old enough yet - I wasn't old enough for a lot of the rides. But I did get to go on a fun video game ride with Buzz Lightyear. I think it was my favorite ride, although the Finding Nemo ride was a close second... ok, maybe the Small World ride was a tie for second. I can't believe how many people there are to watch out there.

That night we watched a water show (mom tells me to tell you that it is called World of Color). The water shot really high in the air and was all different colors, there was fire too!

The next day we went to Legoland. It was a bit of a drive and just ok for me. There wasn't as much for me to see or do... maybe I will like it more when I'm a bit older. Luckily, we had another 3 days at Disneyland plus we got to go see Mommy's friend Shilpa get married. That was fun too... I got to see a pretty white horse that was all dressed up. Mommy was in a pretty costume that was purple - she looked pretty.

After a long flight home, where I met a really nice flight attendant that carried me around for half the flight, we made it home. Oh how I love my own bed after a trip! I'm so glad to be back in school for my normal routine after a great trip.

Hope to see you all soon...

And I walk!

Yes, it is true. Yesterday I gathered my entire family and showed them that I could walk. I took five to six steps just for them. I have been practicing, but decided to wait until my daddy and brothers were home to show them.

After the first few times, we gathered the neighbors for a little show. We had a great time in the backyard as everyone watched me. I haven't decided if I am going to show my teachers at school today or not. I might make them wait a few days.

Check out the video that daddy got of me...

Fireworks, Birthday Cake & Rain?

We had a wonderful weekend with all sorts of new things that I haven't seen. My Auntie Suluh came to visit us and we did a lot of face time with Emo Halina. I got to see Nini too. It is quite weird seeing them in the phone.

It was Auntie Suluh's birthday so we did lots of fun things and got to have cake (well, i didn't get to have cake, but I saw it). Mommy tells me I have to wait another month before I get birthday cake. The fireworks were really pretty outside of my window. I only saw a few because I was so tired after being sick most of the day. It is finally sunny and warm outside and I am stuck in my room with the flu. It's not fair. At least the rain seems to be gone for a while.

Mommy says that we are going up to Vashon in a few weeks to the Strawberry Festival. I hope there are lots of yummy strawberries for me to eat!

Happy Memorial Day

It has been a fun weekend - I hope that you have enjoyed yours. I am really pooped out but wanted to share some of the fun stuff that has been going on lately.

I got another tooth! This is number 6 for me... Mom and Dad keep thinking that I'm getting more than I have, but really there are on 6 that have come through. I have four on top and two on the bottom. They come in really handy since I LOVE food :) My favorite lately is this yummy chicken-apple sausage that Mom cooks up for me. I can't get enough of it.

We went to see my friend Gigi on Saturday. They have a beautiful new home and it was fun to play with her, she has lots of toys that I've never seen before. I was pretty tired though since the whole family went swimming earlier in the day. I had so much fun - I wasn't sure about the water at first. There were so many people in there and kids splashing all around. But, once I was in and wet, I had a great time. I think my brothers had the most fun going down the slide. Dad and I scored them as they came down.

Yesterday we got to hang out with Bella and Abby, it's been a while since we have gotten to hang out and it was fun to share my toys with them. Everyone seemed so happy and surprised that all of us could crawl and "play" together.

This morning we went to the zoo. We were there for a long time, but it was nice and relaxing. I think my favorite part was seeing the goats. They were so close I could almost touch them. My brothers' favorite part was the dinosaurs. I didn't like them too much since they keep spitting on me and they were big and scary.

After such a big, long weekend, it is nice to be home and ready for bed. Hugs and kisses...
