Whistler

After a long, long day of driving we finally arrived in Whistler! It has been a really fun day so far. We dropped my brothers off at ski school (I can't wait until I get to ski too)! After that, Mom and Dad took me for a walk in my new backpack. The backpack is great - I get to see everything and it is SO comfortable!

After a nice afternoon nap, I'm ready to get back out exploring... miss you.

Cough, cough

What a day! Mom took me to the doctor after my cough started to sound worse and I guess I threw up on her enough times to make her think I was really sick. The visit started off fine... Dr. Kilty listened to my chest and back. He really is a nice man... then he told mom that I either have some brochiolits thing or pneumonia.

Mom freaked out! She got all worried that I was dying or something. Not the case - Dr. Kilty said that babies don't really die from pneumonia and that I'm not that sick. But, just to be on the safe side we should take xrays to make sure my lungs are ok.

This is the point where my day turn a turn for the worse. They put me in a plastic tube like thing that was standing up. I sat on a bicycle seat that was just the right side for my bottom, then held my arms up in the air while they closed this thing around me. It was kind of fun at first, then they dropped me down into the tube. Don't they know that I am a person! A human one? What kind of torture is this? I didn't know that devices like this existed!

Finally, they took me out and looked at the xrays and I don't have pneumonia. Just this brochiolits thing. The doctor said lots of rest and liquids and I should be better soon.

We caught a fish!

Well, we didn't really catch a fish. We really caught a tooth. Just as Dr. Kilty said, teething is like going fishing. You wait and wait and you keep thinking you catch a fish and then one day you do! We knew that one was coming and we kept thinking we had one and now finally we can say we have a sharp edge coming through my gums. I know that everyone else thinks this is all fun and games but let me tell you - it hurts!

I've never had a tooth come in before, how was I suppose to know what it felt like? It's just not pleasant. I, of course, haven't complained - I'm a happy girl and I'm not going to let a little thing like a tooth get me down.

Check it out the next time you see me. :)

Bear Hunter

What a weekend... Bear Hunter and Grandma Lois came to visit us. It was quite a visit - I really enjoyed all of the extra attention! Grandpa Luke brought a camo-jumpsuit that was super cute on me but just a tad bit too small. I can't wait to see them again.

Mom tells me that Nini is coming to visit next weekend. Maybe I'll have my first tooth by then!
